Level-5 Delays Yo-Kai Watch 4 and Inazuma Eleven Ares

Japanese gamers will have to wait a bit longer for both titles

Both of Level-5’s highly anticipated games, Yo-kai Watch 4 and Inazuma Eleven Ares, have received a slight delay in Japan. Originally set to release this fall, Inazuma Eleven Ares has now been pushed back to a winter release according to the latest issue of CoroCoro Comic (via Gematsu). The magazine also announced that Yo-kai Watch 4 won't be releasing this winter as originally planned, but will now come out in spring of next year.

Yo-kai Watch 4 is the latest entry in Level-5’s popular role-playing game series, and is set to be exclusive to Nintendo Switch, while Inazuma Eleven Ares is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and phones. No reason for either of the delays was given, and this is actually the second delay for Inazuma Eleven Ares. The soccer role-playing game was originally supposed to release this summer.

While you wait, you can check out over 10 minutes of Yo-kai Watch 4 gameplay below:

No worldwide release dates are set yet for either title, but Japanese gamers can expect to play Yo-kai Watch 4 in spring 2019 and Inazuma Eleven Ares this winter.
