New GTA V Mod Makes San Andreas Photorealistic
Custom shaders make the open-world action game look truly incredible
The modder L00 is best known for his work on Bethesda role-playing games such as Fallout 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition, but now he's back with an impressive modification for Grand Theft Auto V. His “PhotoRealistic San Andreas” mod is now available, and takes the graphics of the open-world action game to new heights on PC. Some of the released screenshots look nearly indistinguishable from real life, it’s quite the technical feat.
The all-in-one visual enhancer is compatible with ‘’all other weather and lighting mods,’’ so players can customize how it looks to a certain extent. To achieve its desired look of photorealism, it uses custom shaders that emulate photography. There are in-game options that allow players to change the post processing, color grade, and reproduce looks from certain cameras.
