Fallout 4 Gets Extensive Story Mod Called Sakhalin
It adds a new island with plenty of new quests to it
Fans of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic role-playing game recently wrapped up work on an impressive looking expansion for Fallout 4. Created by the team of Andzi Proxy and IXWIND, Fallout: Sakhalin adds a new island to the game, which served as a Soviet port. Once players are in the location, they can experience plenty of new content including an entire questline, factions and monsters.
The game is a side project for the developers, who are currently working on their own game called Trails fo Ayash. The Fallout 4 mod was made just in a month, and the duo previously worked together on the Gothic: Orpheus mod for another Bethesda RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It takes place in an alternate future of Fallout where communist China, the USSR, Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany have all been battling over Sakhalin Island. Players get to experience the war first-hand in the mod, which is inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Fallout: New Vegas.
