Mod Let's You Play As Bowsette In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The female version of Bowser can now replace Link in the action game

Skin mod artist Lynard Killer is back with a new creation for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and it is based upon the fan-made character that is currently taking the internet by storm. The new mod, which is available for both Nintendo Wii U and Switch (in part thanks to porter Leeanderthal), allows players to replace Link’s model with Bowsette. While Bowsette isn’t an official Nintendo character, the gender swapped version of Bowser has become incredibly popular online over the past month.

There are a few different looks that Bowsette can have in-game, and fans of the quickly growing "Rule 34" community surrounding the fan-made character will be glad to know that there's a skimpy two-piece available. There are also some more traditional dresses that she can wear, which can be customized by purchasing dyes in-game. Lynard Killer previously made the Linkle mod for Breath of the Wild, and her armor (found here) are compatible with his latest creation.
