Japanese Visual Novel Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart Censored On PS4
It appears that the Japanese side of Sony is following through with the west’s new policies
Sony has come under fire recently for becoming increasingly more strict when it comes to sexual content in games on their systems. It recently impacted Senran Kagura: Renewal as it caused its intimacy mode to be removed and the game delayed, and the latest victim to censorship from the platform holder is Japanese visual novel Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart.
Many of the more erotic pieces of art have been significantly altered in the PlayStation 4 version of the game (which is an enhanced port of the PlayStation Vita original). This includes streaks of light being included so more sexual poses or exposed skin can’t be seen as easily. It’s also seeing released on Nintendo Switch and PC, where the erotic scenes are the same as the original and have been unaltered. So, it appears to be a Sony-only problem.
Take a look at how the erotic visual novel looks on PlayStation 4 compared to the original PlayStation Vita version below:

Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart is available now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Both console versions are rated Cero D, so it wasn't the case of the publisher trying to obtain a lower rating.
