In this article, we will analyze side quests that can be found on the territory of Argolis in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Quests are listed in order of their appearance.

Enough is Enough

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-1

  • Given by: priest Pylenor
  • Reward: experience points

The first priest that you will meet at the entrance to the territory of the Asklepios’ sanctuary is standing near baths and whines about the serpents who have flooded the institution. Pylenor (that’s his name) cannot talk to mercenaries about Myrrine, but if the misthios helps out, Pylenor will surely provide some useful information.

The problem is that snakes love heat – there is plenty of heat there – and Alexios/Kassandra cannot kill snakes because another priest will be very upset. You’ll be advised to put cold water in the building with the help of an underground pipe.

Go to the quest indicator and watch your step – the pipe will stick out of the ground in thick grass. Having flooded the baths with cold water and having got rid of the snakes by interacting with the object, return to Pylenor to get … nothing. He won’t give you anything and won’t tell you anything.

Written in Stone

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-5

  • Given by: priest Timoxenos
  • Reward: experience points

You will find Timoxenos working not far from Pylenor, near the guesthouse, under the records of those who visited the sanctuary of Asklepios and their illnesses that are carved in stone. Persuade him to tell you about Myrrine. He does not want to do this at this place as he can be noticed, so he will offer to take a walk.

Follow Timoxenos until the heroes stop at the third ‘’tombstone’’ where information about Myrrine and her child can be found. The priest will notice that someone is coming and will quickly instruct the protagonist to meet him at the Herakles olive tree in the nearby.

The uninvited guest’s name is Pleistos, and he is not happy that one of the priests talks to the ‘’eagle bearer’’, the one to whom Chrysis has strictly forbidden talking. The outcome of the quest and also the fate of Timoxenos depends on your next answer.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-9

The main character’s replica should convince Pleistos that your conversation with the elderly priest was innocent. An outright lie will do the job (option ‘’I was looking for the bath house’’), a more sophisticated lie will also go well (option ‘’We were talking about sword wounds’’).

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-10

At the end of the conversation, go to the above-mentioned olive tree. If your lie worked well, Timoxenos will be alive and will tell you a little about that fateful night that featured Myrrine and her crippled child. In the other case, the priest will be dead.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-11

Regardless of Timoxenos’ fate, Pleistos and two soldiers will ambush the hero. The quest will end after the cutscene, so if you wish, you can avoid fighting with the attackers – the elderly priest will run away.

Death Comes for Us

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-12

  • Given by: civilian
  • Reward: experience points

If you decided to save a child rather than chase Chrysis in the quest Ashes to Ashes, you’ll be able to meet a woman praying on her knees on a road between Argos and Asklepios’ sanctuary after the end of that quest. Her husband was assaulted by bandits in the forest, and she asks for help.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-13

Having arrived at the place marked by the quest indicator, you will find a dead man, but the quest will not end. Chrysis, who has lured the naïve hero into the trap, has come to deal with him. Two armored cultists will help Hera’s priestess in this business.

In combat, focus on soldiers as they are the most dangerous opponents. Use the skill Shield Breaker to break the defense of your enemies, and do not forget to parry or at least dodge enemy blows. The Second Wind skill will come in handy in this fight.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Side Quests Walkthrough: Argolis-14

It will be easy to kill Chrysis – after all, she’s an ordinary woman. Promise the priestess to destroy the Cult and to find your family. After this, the protagonist will cut her throat, and the quest will end.
