You can’t call fights in the Goblin Stadium difficult, because there are not so many cards available yet and it’s hard to make a deck that would be very different from others’. Nevertheless, even here there is a place to experiment. First, we’ll deal with cards available from the very beginning.
It is easy to notice that there are epic cards in the list, which may not drop after the first victories. Some players never get the Prince until the fourth arena. It's alright, the first deck will contain only ordinary and rare cards.
Battle deck № 1
The main principle of this deck is very simple and effective. There are two tanks – the Giant and the (slightly less expensive) Knight, two distance attacking units: the Musketeer and the Archers, and three cards of wide damage: the Arrows, the Fireball and the Bomber. Two different tanks allow you to perform an attack, even when there is not much elixir left. A Musketeer is excellent at shooting up enemies from afar while working as a defender of a tower, and Goblins are needed to distract the enemy.

The principle of using tanks is the same. The Giant and the Knight still remain your shields, but now they will be hiding the Witch and the Mini P.E.K.K.A. behind. Note that the average elixir cost has increased. The punishments are «more expensive», which means you have to play with this deck carefully, so as not to remain completely unprotected. Release the Valkyrie against large groups of troops, but remember that it is not suitable for the offensive.

Here the strategy changes. The main attacking force is «the Witch + the Bomber» combo because the only way to quickly kill a Witch is to attack her by numerous troops, and the Bomber is an ideal unit for smashing them, so he will be able to protect her. A Baby Dragon is for those who are very lucky. It is unlikely that you will be able to level up him so fast, but air units are still rare in the first arena, so they have the advantage. Considering the attack of the Baby Dragon, this will help you to win faster. Release it as a tank to protect the Musketeer and Witches.

Almost all players use the Arrows in the first arena, so the Skeleton Army, which is added here, should be used carefully (when you sure that your opponent does not have the Arrows). The Skeletons will be irreplaceable against those lucky ones who have already got the Prince. You have three basic units for the attack: the Musketeer, the Baby Dragon and the Giant. Release them together after successfully repelling the siege. But do not forget that such an attack is expensive, so watch the elixir line.

To collect this deck you will need three epic cards: the Prince, the Baby Dragon and the Skeleton Army. But their price will pay off with the victories won. The main idea is to go over to the offensive by a Prince and (if it’s possible) with a Baby Dragon. Some players think that this deck is not protected, but that’s not true: the Skeleton Army will deal with tanks, and the Valkyrie deal with large crowds of enemies.

The Goblin Barrel is considered by many players to be useless, but this is not true, one has only to know how to use it properly. It is easy to neutralize it by releasing the Arrows on the Goblins that came out, but when it flies during an assault, the opponent can make a mistake. Release it when a Giant is walking along the bridge, just before the attack itself, so that the opponent spent his elixir to neutralize the Goblin Barrel or the Giant so one of them could definitely succeed.

Any deck in the first arena containing the Prince will automatically be centralized on it. The Prince is still the main tank, and the Arrows will cover him when a Skeleton Army appears. The Mini P.E.K.K.A. is added to this deck: he also can successfully attack towers. The Goblin Hut is here to constantly deliver reinforcements to the Prince or to serve as a shield to the towers.

An interesting goblin deck that allows you to attack by various methods. You can not only make attacks with a Giant covered by a Musketeer or Goblins but also annoy your enemy with the Goblin Barrel. The deck is especially interesting due to the Goblin Hut. If you place two huts at the late-game stage, you will be able to press the enemy with your army, so the deck is good at the accelerated elixir period too.
