Detroit: Become Human
Detroit: Become Human Last Chance, Connor Walkthrough
How to find the location of Jericho, deal with a nasty detectice and avoid the FBI agent
This chapter, like many others with Connor’s participation, starts in the now snow-covered garden of stones. Before you go to meet Amanda (she waits for the hero in the middle of the frozen pond), visit the magic stone and the graves of your previous incarnations. The tombstone will appear if you ‘’kill’’ Connor in any of the previous chapters. The nearest one is ‘’Public Enemy’’.
First, Amanda will demand a report on your meeting with Elijah Kamski. If you have learned the location of the ‘’Jericho’’, you’ll get a big bonus to reputation. If you failed or did not want it – your relationship with Amanda will worsen. Don’t react emotionally – the relationship will worsen even more. The ‘’cold’’ option will slightly improve the relationship and will decrease the software instability rate.
In the next section of the dialogue, Connor will ask Amanda:
- ‘’Kamski’’ – will worsen the relationship between Connor and Amanda;
- ‘’Photo’’ – no effect;
- ‘’Connor series’’ – will worsen the relationship between Connor and Amanda;
- ‘’Cyberlife’’ – no effect;
- ‘’This place’’ – will worsen the relationship between Connor and Amanda;
- ‘’Secret’’ – will worsen the relationship between Connor and Amanda.
Finally, Amanda will ask whether Connor had any feelings for deviants or lieutenant Anderson. Here are the options:
- ‘’Yes’’ – will significantly worsen the relationship between Connor and Amanda and will slightly increase the software instability rate;
- ‘’No’’ – will significantly improve the relationship between Connor and Amanda;
- ‘’Doubts’’ – will significantly worsen the relationship between Connor and Amanda.
After the talk with the boss, Connor will find himself at the police station – captain Fowler tells partners that their android case is going to FBI. Hank’s reaction depends on your relationship. If Hank is hostile to Connor, he will immediately resign from police and will live the site. In all other cases, he will go to his desk.
If you have learned the location of ‘’Jericho’’ in the chapter ‘’Meet Kamski’’, Connor will immediately go checking the new information after he is out of Fowler’s office. This is the ending ‘’Connor Left For Jericho’’. You can also talk to Hank along the way if he did not leave the police station.
The opposite scenario – Connor does not know where the resistance base is located and has no evidence to calculate it. This is the ending ‘’Connor Series was Decommissioned’’. To get to this sad end, you need:
- Chapter ‘’The Nest’’ – save Lieutenant Anderson, missing Rupert;
- Chapter ‘’The Eden Club’’ – release Tracy;
- Chapter ‘’The Stratford Tower’’ – do not let Simon die;
- Chapter ‘’Public Enemy’’ – miss the deviant (die in the kitchen of the TV studio) or fail to find it and do not find Simon.
In case where you have enough evidence to find out the location of ‘’Jericho’’ – i.e. heroes have at least one potential informant (Rupert, Tracy, Simon or deviant operator), – Connor will be able to talk to Hank (if he did not leave). After a meaningless introductory replica of the hero, Hank will raise doubts if he (and Connor with him) are fighting for the right side.
All answer options except for doubt will lead to a slight deterioration of your relationship with the lieutenant. If you did not kill Chloe in the chapter “Meet Kamski”, Hank will be interested in reasons of this decision – he won’t appreciate ‘’Cold’’ and ‘’Determined’’ replies.
The last phrase of this dialogue will be available only if Connor and Hank are friends: the hero may thank his partner for their work. Any variant of this replica will lead to a slight improvement of the relationship with Hank and a slight increase in the software instability rate.
Next, special agent Perkins comes into the police station (this is happening anyway). He is going to ‘’inherit’’ partners’ case. Connor needs time to find an indication of the ‘’Jericho’’ location in the archive and asks Hank to help him. The reaction of the lieutenant depends on your relationship with him.
- If you are enemies with Hank, he would have already left his badge on Fowler’s table and left before Perkins arrived. In this case, Connor will have 2 minutes to divert the agent;
- Tension/neutral/sympathy – Hank does not want to help Connor and leaves, Connor has to do everything by himself;
- Friends – Hank agrees to help Connor and beats Perkins in the face. The protagonist will have 5 minutes to get the archive.
- If you stand still and do nothing upon Perkins’ arrival, you will unlock the sad ending ‘’Connor Series was Decommissioned’’.
To distract Perkins on your own, look at him (L1) through the transparent door – Connor will see a criminal behind the transparent bar in the nearby cell. Hack the glass cell and free the prisoner. Along his way to freedom, he will punch the agent and provide several minutes to Connor.
While Perkins will be busy with the escaped prisoner or Hank, grab the key card from Anderson’s desk and hurry to the archive. At the entrance, you will meet Gavin Reed – the most unpleasant policeman.
The ending of this episode depends on how you deal with Gavin. Options ‘’Leave’’ and ‘’Irony’’ will cause suspicions, while the remaining ones will allow Connor to proceed without being detected.
Go down to the archive, open the door with your key and activate the panel. To gain access to evidence, you should calculate Hank’s password. Hank is not that inventive, and his password is ‘’Fuckingpassword’’.
To find out the location of ‘’Jericho’’, Connor has four and a half minutes. If you are out of time, you will unlock the second version of the sad ending ‘’Connor Series was Decommissioned’’.
After you have put the correct combination, the hero will see all the evidence in the deviant case. A number of evidence items may lead to “Jericho”, so let’s move from left to right in order not to miss anything. It goes without saying that you must have found the relevant item in previous episodes for it to appear.
The first one is Daniel from the chapter ‘’The Hostage’’. He will be available under any circumstances. To awaken the deviant, you need to remove one of the working components of another robot and plug it into Daniel. You will find nothing interesting during the conversation with him.
Rupert from the chapter ‘’The Nest’’ appears as evidence if you pursued him and did not choose to save Hank instead. The bird fan has nothing to say to Connor, so, having awakened the android, inspect the diary found in his apartment (in the center of the closet) and download the decryption key from its owner. The diary will open ‘’Jericho’’ location to Connor. We’ll later talk about what happens in this case.
Blue-haired Tracy is the next piece of evidence if Connor shot her and her girlfriend in the chapter ‘’The Eden Club’’. She does not want to talk to Connor, so he needs a trick to extract the information. Red-haired Tracy is hanging on the rid side. Unfasten her head, pretend to be the girlfriend of the blue-haired Tracy and get the decryption key of ‘’Jericho’’.
The body of android Carlos hangs next to red-haired Tracy if you let him die in chapters ‘’The Interrogation’’ or ‘’Waiting for Hank…’’. This deviant is of no value, but the related evidence is interesting.
The tablet with the memory of Carlos (‘’Truth inside’’) will appear only if you persuaded the deviant to talk and won his trust. The mysterious statue could have been found in the bathroom of his house.
Analyze the first from the two clues, break the statue and get a map form it. To make the scheme useful, it must be linked to another useful clue: Rupert’s body, blue-haired Tracy, Simon, the deviant operator (you should penetrate their memory) or the tablet with the image of ‘’Jericho’’ (on the shelf in the center). The last one could be obtained in the chapter ‘’Public Enemy’’ by chasing Simon.
Depending on who Connor decided to detain in the episode ‘’Public Enemy’’, the last evidence item will be either Simon or the ‘’kitchen’’ deviant. The interrogation tactics are the same for both: see the record of Markus’ message to the humans (it should have been analyzed in the chapter ‘’Public Enemy’’) and imitate the voice of the resistance leader to find out the location of ‘’Jericho’’.
If you chose the calm option in the previous dialogue with Gavin, there’ll be no one in the room when he arrives. This is the ending ‘’Connor Eluded Perkins’’.
In all other cases, Gavin will pick a fight with Connor at the exit from the room. If you win, you will unlock the ending ‘’Connor incapacitated Gavin’’. If you lose, you will unlock the ending ‘’Gavin Destroyed Connor’’.
This concludes the episode ‘’Last Chance, Connor’’. Here’s the flowchart:
