Marvel’s Spider-Man Full Walkthrough: Dinner Date
In the twenty-fourth mission, Mary Jane will tell Peter about her activities in his absence
Following the unplanned visit to the lab in the dock, Peter must hurry to the dinner with Mary Jane at her apartment – the characters agreed to discuss their findings in the Li case in informal atmosphere. The hero will barely walk in when the girl drags him into an interactive flashback.
The events of the flashback unfolded a few hours before the meeting between Peter and MJ. The journalist decided to visit the address of the auto store where Martin Li ordered, so to speak, an expensive tuning for his car. As usual, the place is full of aggressive bikers.
Your task is to get to the main office. It is not as easy as it seems – there’s no direct path to the goal, and guards are on the bypass route. If they spot you, the mission will be over. Fortunately, in comparison with the mission Don’t Touch The Art, Mary Jane has learned new tricks.
The first (and most important) one is the ability to sabotage. Use the tool kit in the front to attract the biker’s attention. The side from which he will go around the table – left or right – depends on the direction at which you pushed the box. In this case, it’s better to push the object to the left and let the heroine go to the right.
This trick will allow MJ to come close to the windows of the target office and overhear conversations held there: a certain Rick is called to the boss. Turn twice to the left from this place to get to the two bikers who are working on creating a huge truck.
Move forward until you see a pile of boxes in front of you and scattered glass fragments on the floor. These objects will attract undue attention to your person if you interact with them, so avoid contact. Even if you hit them, don’t worry – just run holding R2.
Another biker blocks the way forward. Distract him by dropping the toolbox to the left and sneak from the back side. Move forward until you see a distant yellow generator and a guard who is patrolling the area. Don’t rush out of the shelter but wait until the guard walks to the other side of the room.
You don’t have much time to execute your plan – the guard walks around the room in circles. Therefore, don’t waste time and don’t touch the broken glass on the floor while you rush to the generator. Having reached the generator, pull the handle to turn off the light in the passage/body of the truck that stands ahead of you.
Another guard will come down to check what’s going on, providing you the opportunity to move to the far side of the workshop. Wait until the other biker frees the way downstairs and, when this happens, move to the right side along the Minotaur truck.
Having reached the fork, follow (at a safe distance, of course) the guard until he crosses a pile of broken glass. After this, your ways part. Sneak behind the yellow barrels marked “Alchemax” and inspect the stocks: a cutscene will start.
The leader of the biker gang – an albino super-villain nicknamed Tombstone - will get rid of his welder for insubordination in a cruel way: the team is developing a secret project for Martin Li and such incidents are unacceptable. At the end of the cutscene, Tombstone will leave only one guard at his office and will go to repair a motorcycle.
Go around the barrels on the left side to get to the next noisy toolbox which can be used to distract the above-mentioned biker. Drop it to the left or to the right and rush to the office along the path on the opposite side from the dropped object.
Once you get to the office, you are safe. First of all, take a picture of the scheme of a huge armored troop carrier that Tombstone and his bikers are building for Li. Next, inspect GPS sensors on the table – later, they will allow you to track down the villain (you’ll do this in side missions).
Hearing the approaching steps of the Tombstone, MJ will decide to hurry up and will safely leave the institution. Meanwhile, in Mary Jane’s apartment, the hero is showing off his cooking skills. While the chicken curry is preparing, the characters exchange information about Li.
In less than a couple of minutes, a potential dish will exhale acrid smoke while Spider-Man’s surveillance system will notify him about the breach of the apartment of Charles Standish, the financial director of Oscorp. Having instantly changed into his superhero suit, Peter decides to leave without saying goodbye.
However, MJ will spot his actions and will hint that it would have been nice to get rid of his clothes that lie on the floor. Heroes will bid farewell to each other, and you’ll get 3000 experience points for the completion of this mission.
